Aldershot Contemporary presents a new exhibition, Ute’s work explores the complexities of human relationships, mental health, and the experience of confinement. She often reflects on how women’s mental health has been portrayed throughout history, drawing inspiration from classical paintings and sculpture.

Her recent video pieces examine the ways space shapes identity and emotion, bringing a quiet intensity to these themes. Minimal yet deeply evocative, her videos are both unsettling and striking in their beauty.

Ute works across multiple forms of media—including drawing, painting, printmaking, quilting, and video—using each to create accessible, thought-provoking insights into the human experience.
